Most importantly, Happy Thanksgiving ya’ll! I hope you’ve enjoyed your day as much as I have. We’ve been together with friends and extended family all day, and loving every minute of it. Our hearts are bubbling over with gratitude and love today. We have so much for which to be thankful!
I’ve never been a black Friday, 3 am rise and shine kind of gal, searching for the best deal the day after Thanksgiving. However, I do like to get a jump start on my Christmas shopping, Etsy style. Have you ever shopped Etsy?
So today I’m sharing this cute little trick for absolutely making someone’s day! Guaranteed. Did you know you can mail a bouncy ball straight from the post office? Oh yes you can, and we did.
Mimi and Grammy, as the girls call their grandmothers, are extra special ladies. They love face-timing and phone calls with them to tell all about their days. And every single call ends with “please come to my house”. And let me tell you it usually results in an expedited trip.
After a week of travel for work it is so good to be home! We are enjoying this beautiful weekend, and between the bike rides we are full-out Valentine’ing around here. My little love bugs and I are creating Valentines for classmates and special friends.
This is one of my favorite holidays because I get to be so crafty, and I think I know two girls who enjoy crafting like their mama. Especially the painting part.
It’s Day 11 in my 12 Days of Christmas Series, and I’m talking last minute gifts. I’m sorry to remind you, but the countdown has begun. There are only 10 days left until Christmas!
I’m honestly not a procrastinator (normally), but I’m finding myself making the list and checking it twice during the last few days leading up to Christmas. Please tell me you are with me, and I’m not alone!
There’s nothing more special and thoughtful than a homemade gift! Nothing. So I’m sharing three gifts they are sure to love! And the best part, they take 15 minutes max. If you are short on time but big on heart, I have you covered. Not to worry.
Gift #1: this amazing wrap bracelet.
It’s Day 5 of my 12 Days of Christmas Series, and I’m creating homemade gifts for friends and co-workers. I love a thoughtful, homemade gift! Don’t you? The idea that someone has me in mind, and spends time creating just for me is such a blessing. And, even more, I LOVE, LOVE giving homemade gifts. My guide is, if I would like to receive it, it’s probably a good idea to gift it to someone else.
So today I’m sharing two homemade gifts with you that can be made in 20 minutes or less. Here goes.
Homemade Salted Caramel Sauce. 20 mins preparation.
It’s true, no exaggeration. I’m so old-fashioned that way. I still send handwritten cards by snail-mail. And, have you noticed we are within the most popular birthday weeks of the year? It feels like everyone I know is a September or October birthday, and I’m one of them too. Yea for October birthdays!
Actually, as a lesser-known fact – September 16th is the most popular birthday. (That’s your random piece of trivia for the next dinner party.)
